电子信息工程专业是集现代电子技术、信息技术、通信技术于一体的专业。文章主要分为六个部分。第一部分介绍电子信息工程专业所涉及的主干学科;第二部分介绍电子信息工程的基本概念;第三部分介绍电子信息学科的课程体系;第四部分对电子信息技术的发展进行了简要的回顾;第五部分介绍国外电子信息技术发展的亮点;第六部分介绍电子信息工程专业的就业方向。

The major of Electronic Information Engineering is the major that integrates modern electronic technology,information technology,and communication technology into one branch of learning.This paper is divided into six parts.The first one introduces the main subjects involved in the electronic and information engineering major.The second part introduces the basic concept of electronics and information engineering.The third part introduces the course system of electronic and information subject.The fourth part briefly reviews the development of electronic information technology.The fifth part introduces the highlights in the development of electronic information technology in foreign countries,The sixth part introduces the employment direction of the students graduated from the electronics and information engineering major.
