The operating practice of the charge drooping line of 2650m3 blast furnace with dry dedusting system（DDS） in Shougang Qian＇an Iron and Steel Co. , Ltd. is summarized. By precisely controlling the blast air flux and spaying water volume, the system worked well as anticipated. And the charge dropping line could be lowered to below the tuyere hole safely, quickly and effectively by further precisely controlling the times for air cutting-off and slag-tapping.
