摘要
习语是语言的精华,有着深厚的社会历史渊源和丰富的文化内涵。通过分析"云"隐喻在习语中的种种隐喻和比较汉英两种语言中有关"云"隐喻的历史渊源和文化内涵,以发现"云"隐喻在这两种文化中的共性和差异。并在此基础上,对隐喻的翻译做了初步探讨。
Idioms, as the essence of language, are endowed with fundamental historic sources and abundant cultural connotations. Based on a comparative study of ＂ cloud＂ metaphors in Chinese and English idioms, the historic sources of ＂ cloud＂ metaphors and their cultural connotations both in Chinese and English are analyzed to explore the similarities and differences of ＂ cloud＂ metaphors in the two cultures.
