符号学语言观指导下语码转换的翻译研究

A Semiotic Study on Translation of Code-switched Utterances

语码转换这种常见的语言表达形式在文学文本中往往是作者有意所为,具有特定的诗学效果。但语码转换的翻译,由于多种语码并存,常常给译者造成困难。从符号学语言观的三种意义出发分析文学文本中的语码转换,并以具体的译例讨论了各种翻译手段的利与弊,从而提出译者应正视语码转换的可译性限度问题,尽最大努力再现原作,以在最大程度上实现奈达提出的"译语的信息接受者对译文的反应与源语接受者对原文的反应程度基本相同"的对等标准。

Code switching, as a common language expression form, carries with it a poetic effect in literature works. Based on analysis of three semiotic meanings of code-switched utterances in literary works, this paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of various translating techniques and concludes that translators should take a proper view on the limits of translatability of code switched utterances and try their best to reproduce the functions of text in the source language in order to meet the translation standard put forward by Eugene Nida the reaction to the translated version by readers in the target language is similar to the reaction to the original version by readers in the source language.
