Present Status and Development of Geothermal Power Generation and Geothermal Resources in Xizang

西藏电力工业发展较快，装机容量已达３１１ ＭＷ，年发电量６５８ 亿ｋ Ｗ·ｈ 。地热资源丰富。地热发电开发较早是西藏电力工业的一个重要特点。羊八井地热电站装机容量为２４ ＭＷ，年发电量已达１１ 亿ｋ Ｗ·ｈ 。

Electric power industry in Xizang develops rapidly.The installed capacity had hit 311 MW with annual electricity generation of 658 GW·h by the end of 1998.Xizang is abundant in geothermal resources.Geothermal power,exploited comparatively earlier,is a main constituent of electric power industry in Xizang.Yangbajing Geothermal Power Plant is the largest one in China, its installed capacity has reached 24 MW with annual electricity generation of 110 GW·h.
