孝感市农村初中英语师资队伍建设现状调查

The Survey on the Current Status of the English Teachers' Team Construction in Rural Junior Middle Schools in Xiaogan

对参加2010年孝感学院"国培计划"初中英语骨干教师培训的50名教师进行的关于孝感市农村初中英语师资队伍建设现状的调查表明:目前孝感市农村初中英语教师队伍呈现出知识结构老化,学历明显偏低,教育观念陈旧,教学方法缺乏灵活性和创造性,使用计算机等现代化信息工具进行多媒体辅助英语教学的意识和能力普遍偏低,培训经费紧张,专业不对口,"教非所学,学非所教"等现象。这些显然与国家和湖北省中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要的方针、要求是不相符的。

The investigation on fifty main English teachers in rural junior middle schools in Xiaogan, who attended Training Program of China in Xiaogan University , about current status of English teachers team in rural junior middle schools in Xiaogan shows that English teachers in rural junior middle schools in Xiaogan generally have the phenomena of not very high level of overall quality, out- of-date knowledge, relatively low academic degree , outdated concepts of education, insufficient flexibility and creativity in teaching methods , relatively low awareness and ,：apability of computer-assisted English teaching ,not enough teaching funds, not corresponding specialty. These are the obstacles to the development of English teachers in rural junior middle schools in Xiaogan and their teaching quality, and is also not consistent to the requirements of education＇s long-term development plan of the country and Hubei Province.
