泰州进行生态城市建设势在必行,但城市生态系统的忽略、发展与保护的不平衡及环境污染的压力等则困扰着泰州生态城市建设。当前泰州要重点加强城市水环境治理,加快城市绿化步伐,建立生态经济体系,建立和谐的自然环境,并重视农村生态建设。

Taizhou must undertake the construction of ecological city,but neglecting city ecological system,unbalanced development and protection,environmental pollution perplex the construction.At present,the focus of Taizhou city is to strengthen putting water environment under control,speed the pace of planting trees in and around the city.Recently,establishing the ecological economy system,establishment of harmonious environment and pay attention to ecological construction of countryside.
