The Family Virtue Concept of the Taiping Kingdom

依据太平天国拜上帝教的"天下一家"的理论,以往学者常常认为太平天国家庭伦理道德的核心是平等观念。我们认为要真正了解太平天国的家庭伦理道德的实质,应该抛弃太平天国家庭的宗教概念,将视角转向洪秀全的凡间"小家庭",也包括太平天国普普通通的个体家庭,通过这些凡间家庭的认识,才能真正了解到洪秀全的家庭伦理思想,把握其内在本质。从宗法关系、家庭道德规范、夫妻关系、家庭男女角色、家庭异性关系和家庭伦理关系等方面看,在洪秀全的小家庭中实行的仍然是以"三纲五常"为核心的封建伦理道德思想,洪秀全的家庭伦理道德观是以男女大防、授受不亲为中心的,在宗教的幌子下,甚至比封建伦理道德更为落后和残忍。

According to the theory of the whole world as one family,which is the belief of the Taiping Kingdom＇s God-worshiping religion,former scholars used to believe that the core of the family virtue concept of the Taiping Kingdom is equality.We assume that,in order to understand the nature of the family virtue concept of the Taiping Kingdom,people should give up the Taiping Kingdom＇s religious concept of family and turn their attention to Hong Xiuquan＇s concept of small family,which includes ordinary individual families in the Taiping Kingdom.Only through those small families can people really come to know the virtue thought of family.
