The Study of Disaster Relief in the Administration of the Nanjing KMT Government

由于地理气候条件等因素,四川处于自然灾害频发地区,给社会生产和人民生活造成重大影响,加之南京国民政府时期川省兵祸不断、政治动荡,更是使灾荒变本加厉,本文拟对这一时期川省的灾荒救济进行研究,探讨南京国民政府时期四川的灾荒救济及政府的应对机制,以深入了解这一时期川省的社会救济情况。

Due to the geographical and climatic conditions,Sichuan suffered natural disasters frequently,which finally led to significant impacts on social production and people＇s lives.In addition,during the administration of the Nanjing KMT government,there were many wars and political unrests,which intensified famines to a greater extent.The writing attempts to not only conduct more researches on famine relief in the Sichuan province during such a period,but also discuss the government＇s response mechanism in order to better understand the cases of social relief in the province.
