This paper makes the experimental and statistical analyses of the disyllabic words formed by ＂sheng＂（生） from the angles of morpheme＇s formative mode,formative power,semantic relation,semantic core as well as semantic variety.Combining the semantic analysis and the structural analysis,the writer describes the characteristics of often-used words ＂sheng＂（生） in the aspects of disyllabic word-formation.
