A New Comprehensive Evaluation Approach to Road Traffic Safety

本文通过分析道路交通事故特点和道路交通安全影响因素,选取能够反映交通事故数量及严重程度的客观评价指标,应用最小欧氏距离法对各项指标进行层次分析,确定其权重值,建立了一套由定量指标构成的道路交通安全评价体系。针对现有评价方法的不足,本文结合投影理论对道路交通安全状况统计数据进行综合分析,提出了一种新的道路交通安全综合评价方法。应用这种综合评价方法对全国的道路交通安全状况进行评价,评价结果可直接排序,评价过程客观,评价方法实用性强。

Having analyzed the characteristics of the traffic accidents and the factors influenced the road traffic safety, some objective indexes reflected the number and severity of the traffic accidents were chosen .Based on these indexes, the weights of them were determined by the analytic hierarchy process-the least square distance method. An index system contained the quantitative indexes for road traffic safety evaluation was suggested, Considering the drawbacks of some generally used evaluation approaches, anewapproach which analyzed the vector of the statistics was proposed for road traffic safety the basis of projection theory. Finally, a comprehensive evaluation of the road traffic safety condition in China was given on the basis of the approach. The evaluation results could be directly sorted.
