Sofar, many herbal books have had a detailed discussion to the Dendrobium. The article would comb the ancient literature of Dendrobium from the name origin, habitat scope transformation, processing methods and the applica- tion and so on,what will provide a theoretical basis for the modern research of Dendrobium planting and processing.
