韦拔群以少年时代亲民、怜悯穷人、救难济贫的正直"拔哥"形象深得民众的喜爱;他从群众中来到群众中去,植根于民,胸怀革命理想,密切联系群众,紧紧依靠群众,一生为民众谋福祉,积极探索革命真理,实践了从一个旧民主主义革命者到新民主主义革命者,再成为一名共产主义战士的人生转变;他锲而不舍地坚持发展右江农民运动,艰苦卓绝,以民为本,在中国共产党的领导下,不断扩大农民运动规模和武装斗争,最终为著名的百色起义提供了充分的条件,奠定了群众基础,也为右江红色革命根据地和苏维埃政府的建立做出了卓越贡献。他的革命斗争实践表明,中国革命在以农民为主体的具体国情条件下,实践革命斗争,必须走群众路线,密切联系群众,依靠群众,以民为本,为民谋利,一切从实际出发。只有这样才有号召力和凝聚力,最终获得成功。今天,在建设中国特色社会主义和小康和谐社会的新时期,要发展地方经济,建构文明社会、和谐社区,同样需要弘扬这种精神,借鉴这些经验。这些成功的革命理论依然具有十分重要的现实指导意义。

At his boyhood,Wei Baqun won the people＇s favorites for he loved his them,and had a mercy on the poor.He rooted in the masses,held the revolutionary ideal,kept close ties with the masses,sought for the well-being of his people,explored the revolutionary truth actively,and realized a life turn from an old democratic revolutionary to a new one and at last to a communist fighter. He persistently adhered to the development of Youjiang peasant movement.And under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,he expended the scale of the peasant movement and armed struggle,and finally these provided adequate conditions for the famous Bose Uprising,and made an outstanding contribution to the establishment of Youjiang Red Revolutionary Base Area and the Soviet government.His practice of revolutionary struggle show s that practice of revolutionary struggle, which took the peasants as its main part,must follow the mass line,keep close ties with and rely on the masses,and keep a people-orientation;everything must proceeding from reality.Only in this way had it have the appeal and cohesion,and ultimately succeeded.Today,during the new era of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and the well-off and harmonious society,it needs to carry forward this spirit and learn from these experiences in developing local economy,building civil society and a harmonious community.The successful revolutionary theory still has great practical significance.
