Can the Renewable Energy Be Regenerated?

文章深刻分析了可再生能源的定义,仔细研究了"再生"在《辞海》和网络上的含义,并对再生的每一个含义进行了分析,最终得出可再生能源是不可以"再生"的。用"可再生能源"来概括太阳能、水能、风能、生物质能、海洋能和地热能等这类能源是不正确的。认为把"可再生能源"改为"可更新能源"更适合。

Those energies, such as solar, hydro, wind, biomass, ocean energy and geothermal energy, are called regeneration energy in Chinese, while in English they are named renewable energy. Based on profoundly analyzing the definition of renewable energy, carefully studying the meaning of regeneration in ＂ Ci Hai＂ and the network, we think that the ＂ regenerate＂ have not the meaning of the ＂ renew＂ in Chinese. It is not proper to call those energies （such as solar, hydro, wind, biomass, ocean energy and geothermal energy） as regeneration energy in Chinese. For more scientific and more convenient to international exchange, we should call those energies as renewable energy instead of regeneration energy in Chinese.
