Course construction is the basic task of the institutes of higher education.The undergraduate course The Study of Dun Huang in Northwest Normal University is a national excellent course.It is being elaborated under the guidance of the awareness of creating excellent works,with the course system being improved.Great effort has been made to increase the number of students benefiting from the course,to building the foundation of the course and creating the academic background for the course.Much importance is attached to utilizing the course material for the purpose of patriotism education,to the teaching reform and innovation,and to the enhancement of the teaching quality as well.It is gaining great popularity among students and in the academia.
