摘要
介绍分层媒体传输模型基础上的新型组播会活目录服务体系，可提高分层媒体传输中的信道带宽利用效率，并降低目录服务客户端的启动延迟。
The concept of layered media is helpful to the situation in that scalability of real-time application remains challenged by theinherent heterogeneity of the underlying Internet. We propose a new architectUre for multicast session directory service to enhance thebandwidth usage efficiency of layered media flow. It is a1so heIpful to reduce the startup latoncy of a directory service client.
