摘要
评价型强势主位结构将评价意义呈现为主位焦点,不但强化了评价意义,而且使发话者掩饰或省略评价意义的来源,使评价意义显得客观、普遍。正因如此,评价型强势主位结构在论辩性语篇或媒体语篇中被大量使用。由于评价型强势主位结构在意义和信息结构上具有一定的独特性,因而在语篇的层面上具有特定的语篇组织功能。语料分析表明,评价型强势主位结构在媒体语篇中主要实施如下的组篇功能:作为超级主位实施引发功能;过渡功能;作为超级新信息实施总结功能;反馈功能。
Evaluative Enhanced Thematic Constructions (EETCs) present evaluahve meaning as tlaemaac focus, and in so doing not only highlight evaluative meaning, but also enable the addresser to conceal or omit the sources of evaluative meaning, thus making evaluative meaning appear objective and universal. As a result, EETCs find their frequent expressions in argumentative discourse or media discourse. Owing to the unique features of EETCs in meaning and information structure, they can be used to perform organizing function at textual level. The analysis of data reveals that EETCs in media discourse can serve as hyper-theme and perform initiating functions, introduce transitions, serve as hyper-new information and perform concluding functions and provide feedback.
