The external education quality assurance system in the U.K.consists of the Higher Education Funding Council for England,the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education,certain specialized agencies and social organizations,and the news media.While postgraduate education at the Oxford University retains its traditional autonomy,the external education quality assurances have promoted the development of its internal quality assurance.Their successful experience sets a good example for graduate education quality assurance in China.
