人类精液中存在着两种产生活性氧( R O S)的来源——精子和白细胞.这些 R O S在不同水平对精子结构和功能具有不同效应.结合本室成果,综述了 R O S及其清除剂对人精子存活率、运动性和获能等功能的调控及可能的作用机理.提示 R O S在男性生殖生理及病理过程中可能具有重要的生理病理作用,并为 R O
There are two major sources of reactive oxygen species(ROS)in human semen spermatozoa and leukocytes. These ROS have different effects on the structures and functions of sperm at different levels. The regulation of ROS and scavengers on human sperm viability, motility, capacitation and the possible mechanism of this regulation performed in our laboratory are summarized. These studies suggest an important role of ROS in male reproductive physiology or reproductive pathology, and provide theoretical and clinical bases for applications of ROS scavengers to curing male infertility and male antifertility.
