This paper presents a solidification process model of phase change cool storage materials in a flat and rectangular capsule, and improves the thermal resistence method for solving phase change moving interface. The method makes use of first order accuracy solutions to obtain second or higher order accuracy solutions. This paper also analyses the influence of Ste on phase change solidification thickness and rate on the basis of the calculation results.
