多媒体教学网络系统能模拟现实环境，改变单一的教学方式；具有强大的数据存储功能，并对教学信息进行有效的组织和管理，实现不同层次、不同形式、不同要求的教学活动．多媒体教学管理信息系统的核心是基于Ｉｎｔｒａｎｅｔ 的浏览器／ 服务器结构的Ｗｅｂ服务，它将服务器作为数据存储和管理的主体，工作站作为教学得以实现的游览界面，通过Ｗｅｂ 页面方式将各种电子媒体集成和控制起来，并建立它们之间的逻辑连接，协同表达更丰富和复杂的信息．

Multimedia Teaching Network System simulates realistic enviroment and transforms monotonous teaching approach. With a large capcity of data store,it may effectively organize and manage the teaching information,carrying out a variety of teaching activeties which differ in levels,forms and requirements. The essense of Multimedia Teaching Management Information System is based on Web service in the scanner/server stucture of Intranet. With the server as the subject of data store and management,the workstation as the scanning scope indicating the relation if teaching activities,this system may integrate and control various electronic media(numeric repesentations of ext,picture,animation,graphics images,audio frequency and video frequency)to combine them logically and convey more colorful and complex information coordinately.
