Darwin's Legacy to Psychology

查尔斯·达尔文所提出的自然选择理论、自然哲学以及大量关于进化的证据,不仅对生物学、人类学、哲学等领域产生了不容忽视的影响,并且在把心理学各种现象牢固地嵌入到博物学思维的过程中,也起了关键的促进作用。本文简要总结了达尔文在心理学六个领域留下的伟大遗产:比较心理学、情绪心理学、个体差异、发展心理学、机能主义心理学、进化心理学,达尔文也可谓是这些领域的先驱。

Charles Darwin＇ s core contributions,as viewed today,were his theory of natural selection,naturalistic philosophy,and his mass of evidence for evolutionary change.Furthermore,he crucially aided the process of firmly embedding psychological phenomena in a naturalistic scientific ethos.This paper briefly summarized Darwin＇ s great leagcy in six areas of psychology：comparative psychology,emotional psychology,individual differences,developmental psychology,functional psychology,evolutionary psychology.Darwin also could be called a pioneer in these areas.
