摘要
虚拟漫游系统是虚拟现实技术应用的重要分支,在建筑、教育教学、旅游等领域得到广泛应用,为用户提供更人性化、个性化的服务,以不断满足用户日益增长的需求。本文研究了虚拟现实技术及应用领域,在此基础上,综合应用VRML、3DSMAX、JAVA等技术实现了一个漫游系统。详细阐述了漫游系统设计方法、过程及核心技术。重点讨论了漫游系统中视点设置、主场景建模、交互方式等实现方法,并分析了系统的应用支撑环境及可用性,提出了虚拟现实技术应用于旅游业的现实意义。
As an important branch of virtual reality technology,Virtual Roaming System,which aims at providing more humanized and personalized services for customers to satisfy their growing demands,has been extensively applied to various domains such as architecture,education and teaching,and tourism.The paper investigates the virtual reality technology and its application,and further implements a Roaming System by applying synthetically kinds of technologies such as VRML、3DS MAX、and JAVA.The paper introduces the design,process,and core technologies of the Roaming System,discusses emphatically its implementation methods about viewpoint setting,scene modeling,and interactive mode,analyses its application supporting environment and availability,and presents the realistic significance of applying virtual reality technology to tourism.
