Services for the elderly top the public agenda of Dong-gaodi and many similar communities m China＇s urban centers, where organizers and participants have not only created thoughtful programs but proven quite creative about the nature of elder care in their precincts. Outreach programs such as ＂love banks＂ and specialty volunteer services are blossoming.
