翻译的语言本体观辨识

An Ontological Conception of Translation as Linguistic Transference

翻译的语言本体观，即翻译的本质是双语转换，虽在学界得到越来越多的认可，但仍需对其进行深入的辨识，以统一思想，消除争议。本文根据翻译与语言、文化等的远近关系，论证了翻译是一种特殊的语言活动，因此翻译的本体只能是语言，而非文化，翻译学隶属于语言学的论断；同时指出，文化学、符号学研究等新视角丰富了翻译的语言活动本体内涵。

The ontological conception of translation, meaning translation as linguistic transference,has been accepted by more and more scholars. However, further clarification is needed to disperse the disputes. Based on the relations between translation and language/culture, this study argues that translation is a special linguistic activity, thus the ontology of translation is language,not culture, and that translatology consequently falls into the category of linguistics. The study also shows that the ontological conception of language as translation is enriched from the perspectives of culture, semiotics and other new viewpoints.
