This article, probing into The Flowers of Evil written by Baudelaire, the most famous French modernist poetry forerunner in the 19th century, explores those profound parameters like ecological aesthetic thoughts, subconsciousness as well as poetry figures. It postulates that Baudelalre, by the symbolic means of synaesthesia, links various turbulent relationships in unison, including all entities in the universe, humanity, the nature, and inner body organs. Among those relationships the poet functions as a medium, reflecting his strong dissatisfaction and even despair to the physical world. The poetry reassesses and emphasizes "the Evil Consciousness", revealing the extreme notion of destroying the world, mirroring the outlook and value beliefs by personal substitution.
