摘要
对民航卫星通信网进行可视通信图像压缩编码方法进行了研究。通过在多媒体计算机上进行模拟实验表明，将视频信息及语音信息压缩为64kbps通过TES卫星网传输方案是可行的。
CAAC has set up satellite telephone net-TES (Telephone Earth Station) for voice communication. TES can also provide high speed data channel with the transmission rate up to 64kbps.This channel can be applied to video communication. With the rapid deveopment of information technology, developing videophone system based on PC and TES is necessary. imago compress coding method for video transmission in CAAC TES nework has been proposed in this paper. Simulation tests on a multimedia computer show that it is possible to compress image information to 64kbps and trans-mit it through the TES nework.
