Comparative Analysis of Domestic and Overseas Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry

目的:比较国内、外医药产业发展状况,分析制约我国医药产业发展的瓶颈。方法:对比国内、外医药企业自主创新的能力、医药产业集约化、医药国际化水平、药品市场竞争情况及用药结构。结果与结论:我国医药产业自主创新能力弱,发展后劲不足;市场集中度低,运营成本高;产品国际化竞争能力弱;竞争无秩序,供大于求,法制和诚信体系不健全;用药结构不合理。因此,加强自主创新,转变发展方式是实现制药强国梦的必由之路。

OBJECTIVE： To contrasted the development situation of pharmaceutical industry at home and abroad, and analyzed of current bottleneck restraining the development of pharmaceutical industry in China. METHODS： Compared the development situation including the independent innovation of pharmaceutical companies’ competence at home and abroad, intensification of pharmaceutical industry, internationalization level, competition in pharmaceutical markets and the structure of the use of drugs. RESULTS CONCLUSION： Weak competence of independent innovation of pharmaceutical companies in China and the black outlook; low intensification and high operation cost; weak internationalized competitive power in products; disorder competition, supply exceeding demand and imperfect lawfulness and credit system; unreasonable the structure of use of drugs. So, there is the only way which must be passed to achieve the dream of power nation of pharmaceutical by strengthening the independent innovation and transforming the mode of development.
