Based on the development and evolution of reference service,this paper investigates and studies the present situation of reference service in Chinese academic libraries.Mainly introduces the reference service in Fudan Library,including methods of reference service、the basic principle、the application and function of the reference management system.Through our practice,it then discusses the importance and significance of reference service.
