The University of Sydney invites applications for a position as a postdoctoral research associate to carry out research on gamma-ray bursts and supernovae, working closely with Dr Tara Murphy. The focus of your work will be preparation for the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder （ASKAP）, a next generation radio telescope currently under construction in Western Australia. You will work as part of the VAST ＂An ASKAP Survey for Variables and Slow Transients collaboration, and will be expected to lead your own scientific projects within this context.
