中国电信业全要素生产率空间差异及趋同分析

Analysis on Regional Difference and Convergence of TFP in China's Telecommunication Industry

利用非参数的Malmquist生产率指数方法对2003—2008年中国电信业全要素生产率(TFP)的变动进行测算,进一步对TFP变动的时序特征及空间差异进行分析;并运用趋同理论,深入分析差异的演变规律和内在机制。研究表明:2003—2008年我国电信业TFP呈现增长态势,其动力来源于技术进步,技术效率对电信业TFP增长有一定抑制作用;电信业TFP增长存在显著的空间差异,中西部电信业发展明显落后于东部地区;中国电信业TFP不仅存在绝对趋同,而且形成东、中、西三大俱乐部趋同。

By using the nonparametric DEA-Malmquist Index method,this paper firstly measured the total factor productivity（TFP） change of China＇s telecommunication industry during 2003-2008,and then analyzed the characteristic of time sequence and regional difference of TFP change;and by applying the convergence theory,this paper also conducted an intensive study on the evaluation law and internal mechanism of the difference.The study result shows that TFP of China＇s telecommunication industry had been increasing from 2003 to 2008 because of technical progress,and the technical efficiency had some restrictions on the increase of TFP;TFP increase in telecommunication industry took on significant regional difference,the development of telecommunication industry in the middle and west region fell behind the east region obviously;TFP of China＇s telecommunication industry showed not only unconditional convergence,but also club convergence within the east,middle and west region respectively.
