育人工作不仅是教育发端的最初责任,更是高等教育的永恒使命。无论从词源、大学功能还是我国的《高等教育法》角度,都可以清楚地看到大学存在的价值和使命——育人。但是,育人不仅仅是知识的传授,仅仅传授知识的教育是不完善的。当前,必须坚守育人为本,促进学生德智体美全面发展,切实提高人才培养的质量,使高等教育更好的服务于国家发展,社会进步和人民群众的需要。

We can clearly see that the mission and value of the university is educating people from every point of view.
