摘要
当一束强流相对论电子束穿过一系列等距离排列的等电位导体,如导电箔或导电栅网时,由于空间电荷效应,将在纵向形成周期性空间电荷静电场.此强电场将使强流相对论电子束纵向群聚.本文对这一非线性物理过程进行了理论分析和粒子模拟计算.基于此物理机理,有可能研制出一类新型的高功率微波器件.
While an intensely relativistic electron beam is going across a series of equi potential conductors (such as foils or meshes) with the same space interval,because of the space charge effect,a periodical static electric field should be formed.This strong electric field will cause the electron beam to bunch in the traveling direction.In this paper,the analysis and PIC simulation for this mechanism are given.Based on this mechanism,a new type high power microwave source is suggested.
