Region Culture Differences of West and East Zhejiang Areas and the Development of Contemporary Zhejiang Province

在浙江的地域文化性格中,既有温台地区的敢闯、重利,也有杭嘉湖地区的儒雅、诚信,还有金衢地区的吃苦、自强,以及宁绍地区的精明、实在,这些来自源头的文化基因,当成为"浙江精神"的总体诠释。而近年来随着社会经济的发展,浙江新生代的精神走向以及作为一个群体给外界的印象,也正在发生着深刻的多角度的变化,这无疑是浙江新文化建设的重要契机。而只有对历史上两浙地区的人文地理和价值观念及其对社会经济发展所产生的影响作出科学的总结和深入的解读,才能更好地把握这一契机,从而创造适应时代要求的新文化和新观念。

In the region culture of Zhejiang province,there exist both the courage and caring for benefits of Wenzhou and Taizhou areas and the elegance and honesty of Hangzhou,Jiangxing and Huzhou areas.Furthermore,Jinhua and Quzhou areas are famous for their endurance of hardships and self-reliance,Ningbo and Shaoxing areas are threwd and trustworthy.All these are the origin of Zhejiang Spirit.With the social and economical development in recent years,the trend of the young generation＇s spirit and how they impress others are undergoing profound changes.Undoubtedly,it is a great chance for the construction of new Zhejiang culture.Only if a scientific summary and deep decoding of the cultural geography and values of west and east Zhejiang areas are given,and their influence on the social and economical development are studied,can we hold the opportunity tightly and develop new culture and concept which will acclimate the request of the contemporary times.
