摘要 内容型教学法和任务型教学法由来已久,并因其"比其他教学方法更有效"而各自在外语教学中一直处于主流教学法的地位。van Lier认为,内容型教学法和任务型教学法在教学过程中密不可分,应将二者视为一个有机整体,以提高语言学习者在学习过程中的语言意识,加强其对于真实语言的习得效果以及自主学习能力的培养。以van Lier的上述观点为主要理论出发点,结合内容型教学法和任务型教学法的相关理念和原则,探讨如何将二者有机结合,发挥各自优势,构建一种新型教学方法,即"综合法",以期为"后方法时代"的外语教学提供一种可借鉴的教学模式,从而提高外语教学和外语学习效果。 Content-Based Instruction (CBI) and Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) occupy dominant positions in the Communicative Language Teaching family respectively and each is known for their greater effectiveness than most other approaches and methods, van Lier believes that TBLT and CBI are inseparable and that the two should be integrated into an organic whole in order to develop students' awareness and autonomy in their studies and to help them acquire the authentic foreign language. In this paper, on the basis of van Lier' s viewpoint stated above, coupled with the pertinent beliefs and principles advocated in TBLT and CBI, a discussion is made on the possibility of integrating the resources of TBLT and CBI and of developing an "integrated approach" to foreign language teaching. Hopefully, such an approach can help improve foreign language teaching and learning effect in the "post - methods era".
