The Operation Guidance System(OGS) for cold rolling mills,which conveys the commands from and actual results of crane,has perfected the managerial function of the hot rolled coil’s warehouse for 1550/1420 cold rolling mills together with the crane local tracking and car transfer system.Both the function and the design demands for OGS are mainly introduced in the article.
