QoS-based Web Service Selection is a process that selecting the optimal Web Service by evaluatinig QoS properties of the candidate Web services which have the same function,as one of the key techniques in Web service field is under great development.A great variety of exsiting solutions for service selection were examined and sorted.Pros and cons of each kind were pointed out,a discussion of emphases and possible directions in future research on this subject is delivered.
