Beautiful Women Prisoners was a piece of typical works with feminist awareness in the late Qing dynasty.The images of Sha Xue-mei,Xu Ping-quan revealed us not only misfortunes and sufferings of women,but also unique views of Wao Miao-ru on emancipation of women.This reflects the changes of women＇s views and spirit pursuit of advanced women,shows the ideals of women and relations between men and women,therefore its significance in the new era cannot be ignored.
