王寅的诗歌具有浓重的隐逸倾向。他在诗歌中始终保持"优雅"的"旁观者"与"审视者"的姿式。同时他又怀有强烈的使命意识。他的"隐逸"是他在面对物欲时代灵魂的粗鄙与精神领域的荒芜时,对"当下"的无声反抗和对诗意的心灵栖居的寻求,有着疏离与超越的双重内涵,体现的是一种鄙夷的力量和操守的尺度。从本质上说,王寅属于那个充满牧歌式的理想主义的1980年代。

Wang Yin＇s poems have a strong tendency of hermit.His poetry has always maintained a position of elegant ＂bystander＂ and ＂surveyor＂.At the same time,he also cherishes a strong sense of mission.When he faces the vulgar soul and deserted spirits nowadays,he uses his ＂hermit＂ expressing the silent resistance and seeking for a poetic perching place for habitat.With double meanings of alienation and transcendence,his ＂hermit＂ expresses a strength of despites and a scale of integrity.In essence,Wang Yin is a pastoral idealism belonging to the eighties of the 20th century.
