The Hua family,the representative of modern private enterprise in Guizhou,took the lead in applying machines to production on the barren land in Guizhou in the 20th century and became the pioneer to start a modern enterprise in the province.In their long business operation,they promoted the modern enterprise in Guizhou with advanced management concept and modes of operation and actively advocated developing education,printing and publishing a great number of books,which enabled Guizhou to be open to the outside world,provided the people with opportunities to learn about new ideas and new culture,and supplied nourishment of the mind,making a great contribution to the development of modern education in Guizhou.
