引入类似于操作系统中进程的概念，提出基于进程的产品设计过程管理模型，分析设计过程管理中设计人员、设计数据和设计进程管理等技术。讨论设计人员权限管理和产品设计数据分区管理的内容和方法，从进程状态转换的角度讨论设计进程的控制和管理，提出设计进程的定义方法及其相关过程和信息的描述和表达模型。提供一种对产品设计过程进行建模分析的新方法。

The design process management(DPM) model based on process concept in operation system is presented and the key technologies of DPM are analyzed, which consists of the management of designer, design data and design process. The content and methods of the management of design data and designer's authority are discussed. The control and management of design process are also discussed by using the transformation of the state of process. Finally, the representation model of design process and the relevant information is presented, which is the principal base of the programming implementation of DPM.
