摘要
本文以46名英语专业二年级学生为受试,调查了语言水平对朗读能力的预测力。多元回归分析表明,语言水平对朗读能力有预测力,能够解释27%的朗读能力变异,且对朗读准确性的预测力36%明显大于对朗读流利性的预测力10%。此发现为英语朗读教学提供了有益的启示。
This article investigates how well 46 second - year English majors' language proficiency predict their oral reading ability. As a multiple regression analysis shows, language proficiency is a good predictor of oral reading ability, accounting for 27% of the variance of oral reading ability. Moreover, language proficiency contributes much more to oral reading accuracy than to oral reading fluency. The findings offer pedagogical implications for English oral reading instruction.
