人类对客观事物认识的复杂性决定了语言表达的模糊性。模糊语言是言语交际中的一种普遍现象,具有丰富的语义内涵和微妙的语用功能。从模糊语言在词义、话语和语篇方面的具体表现探讨其在英语听力教学中的应用。

The complexity of human knowledge to subjective things determines fuzziness of language speech. Vague language is a universal phenomenon in verbal communication, which possesses rich semantic implications and subtle pragmatic features. According to the concrete manifestations of vague language in the meaning of a word, utterance and discourse, this paper mainly analyzes the appli- cation of vague language to English listening teaching.
