连锁转喻是一种特殊的语言现象,是转喻现象无所不在的表现。连锁转喻是两个甚至更多的转喻操作有规律地出现在同一个语段甚至是同一个句子中等分析层面上的现象。研究表明,连锁转喻的意义依赖于语境。言内语境、情景语境、认知语境对连锁转喻意义的推理起着重要的作用。

Chained metonymy,a special linguistic phenomenon,shows the ubiquity feature of metonymy.It is a linguistic phenomenon that at least two metonymic operations regularly appear in the same text or sentence.Researches have shown the dependence of the meaning of chained metonymy on context.Actually,the linguistic context,situational context and cognitive context all play important roles in the meaning inference of chained metonymy.
