认知理论视域下的中医隐喻翻译

Metaphorical Translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Aspect of Cognitive Theory

中医蕴含丰富的古代哲学思想,其独特的"取象比类"思维使得中医语言存在大量比喻修辞。认知语言学的发展使人们认识到隐喻是人类思维的一种认知方式。从认知理论角度分析中医隐喻翻译,并提出相应翻译策略,以凸现中医独特的意象思维模式,为中医翻译提供一定借鉴。

Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） contains abundant ancient philosophical ideas. Its unique thinking of analogy makes TCM language have a lot of tropes. Development of cognitive linguistics makes people realize that metaphor is a cognitive way of human thinking. This article analyzes TCM metaphorical translation and proposes corresponding translation strategies to highlight TCM special thinking way of images so as to guide TCM translation from the perspective of cognitive theory.
