A Review on the Concepts of Medical Informatics and Their Histories of Social Construction

医学信息的概念在其出现50年的历史过程中不断被泛化和建构。医学信息学概念的泛化已经很难用简单的语言来解释其现今的概念和定义了。通过美国医学信息学会的原始资料以及运用社会建构理论的客观分析,追溯医学信息学的概念起源及其演变过程中各种因素的影响,剖析医学信息学在概念泛化过程中的社会建构过程。

Medical informatics concepts have been continuously generalized and constructed in the last 50 years. Nowadays, it is hard to explain the concept and definition of medical informatics in simple words because of the generalized idea. With the analysis on the original materials from the American Medical Informatics Association and the application of social construction theory, this article tries to trace back the origin of the concept of medical informaties so as to identify the most essential concept of medical informatics and the influencing factors in the evolution process.
