Local Records and Full,Balanced,and Sustainable Development

地方志如何联系实际进行思考,是全国所有方志工作者不得不面对的一个问题。文章从传统旧志以及新编志书中列举较多的实例,认为方志工作者在推动地方协调持续发展方面是大有可为的。可惜的是,当代还有不少方志工作者这方面的意识还不是很强,他们应尽的职责还不是很到位,留下一些不应有的遗憾。

A question all local records workers in our country have to face up with is how to think about local records in the light of reality. This article lists a great number of real examples from both old traditional local records and newly compiled ones,and takes the view that local records workers have lots of work to do to push forward the balanced and sustainable development of the locality. Regrettably,quite a number of local records workers nowadays do not have a very strong sense of these duties,which in turn have left some unfortunate instances that should not exist.
