LEAP：是什么促使你开始做艺术？
肯德尔·戈尔斯：很简单。南非还实行种族隔离政策时，每个白人男性都必须服兵役。入伍是强制性要求。我反对种族隔离政策，因此也反对南非的军队。唯一可以逃脱兵役的做法就是去上学。如果拒绝入伍，就会被判六年徒刑。所以，为了不坐牢，我开始学艺术。但最终，我还是被送上法庭，判了六年。
