群众工作是我们党的优良传统和政治优势,是我们党的事业不断取得胜利的重要法宝。毛泽东对我党群众工作在理论和实践上的形成和完善作出了不可磨灭的贡献,其主要内容包括:严肃红军纪律,搞好军民关系;关心群众生活,真心实意为群众谋利益;坚持"从群众中来,到群众中去"的群众路线;坚持宣传群众、动员群众、组织群众;树立良好作风,密切党群关系。毛泽东的群众工作方法启示我们,做好群众工作,要坚持群众观点;关心人民群众的疾苦,为人民群众办实事办好事;提高贯彻群众路线的水平,保证决策的民主化和科学性;切实加强党的作风建设;把握做群众工作的方式方法。

Mao Zedong made ever lasting contributions to the formation and improvement of the Party＇ s mass line. His methods of the mass work consist in strictly enforcing discipline for the Red Army to build good relations between the army and the people, caring for the life of the masses and always working for their interests, always following the mass line of ＂from the masses, to the masses＂, spreading propaganda among the masses and mobilizing and organizing the masses, and fostering good style to maintain close ties with the masses. Mao＇ s methods of the mass work tell us that in order to guarantee democratic and scientific decision-making we must have the mass viewpoint, care about the masses＇ troubles, follow the mass line and pay attention to ways and means in doing the mass work.
