边缘与回归:论作为基本翻译标准的“忠实”

From Marginalized Notion to Central Subject:On Faithfulness as a Fundamental Criterion in Translation

"忠实"是传统的翻译标准之一,近年来很多学者依据解构主义和"创造性叛逆"思想对作为翻译标准的"忠实"提出了质疑。但对解构翻译观和"创造性叛逆"思潮进行考据与反思之后可以发现,这两种思想并未颠覆"忠实"在翻译中的的重要地位,"忠实"作为翻译标准仍有存在的价值与意义。在新的时代背景下,"忠实"标准要求译者以平等的姿态面对原作,灵活、能动地忠实于原文"意旨",应该在更高更新的层次上实现"忠实"标准。

Faithfulness has been regarded as a fundamental criterion in traditional translation studies.However,it has been questioned by a group of scholars with the thoughts of Deconstructionism and ＂Creative Treason＂ recently.After the research and rethinking on the perspectives of Deconstructionism and ＂Creative Treason＂,the paper contends that the two perspectives can not negate the fundamental role of faithfulness and clarifies the consistent significance of faithfulness as a criterion in translation.As last,the paper puts forward a concept of faithfulness at a higher and newer level for translators：being faithful to the authentic meaning with flexibility.
